A Bit About Us
Autism Centre
The Autism Centre provides diagnostic and therapeutic services for children and youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Staff include: Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Pathologists, Social Workers, Psychologists, and Psychiatrists. They also have Autism Interventionists to assist with implementing early interventions and behaviour planning for children under the age of six.
Staff and Volunteers
The Autism Centre provides training materials for Program Coordinators and volunteers. They teach everyone things like: "What is Autism?", "Behavior and Communication", and "Ethics and Privacy."
This training is crucial for everyone involved because it enables us to provide a safe, healthy, environment for students to learn, develop, and grow in a positive setting.
In addition to this mandatory training, all staff members have completed Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training and are required to have First Aid CPR.
